The meeting was chaired by the Secretary of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation (ICMEC, Commission) Victor Zinoviev.

The meeting participants have discussed the implementation of the decisions of the XIX ICMEC meeting in Minsk in September 2021, as well as addressed a set of issues to be subsequently included into the draft Agenda of the XX ICMEC meeting to be held in September-October in the Russian Federation.

An important outcome of the meeting was that a significant portion of the draft documents reviewed received the support and approval of the participants.

Among the agreed documents are the draft decisions of the CSTO CMD and the CSTO ICMEC on the creation of an interstate system for cataloguing supplies for the armed forces of the CSTO member States and on regulating issues of mutual protection of rights to intellectual property obtained and used during military and economic cooperation in the CSTO format.

It was decided to continue work on coordinating draft decisions of the Organization's statutory bodies on further development of cooperation and integration of enterprises and organizations of the defense-industrial (military-industrial) complexes of the CSTO member States with a view to subsequently submitting them for consideration at the XX ICMEC meeting.

The meeting participants also agreed on the draft Work Plan of the Commission for 2023.
